change of the editorial policy

Starting with 2013 the Journal of Tourism Challenges and Trends charges a publication fee of 60 EUR / 75 USD. Authors are invited to submit articles and the reviewing process is free of charge. If an article is accepted for publication, the final version of the paper will enter the respective issue only if the authors provide the mentioned fee one month prior to the publication date (i.e. June or December). Additional copies of the journal could be obtained with a 50% discount from the price of an issue.

The Journal of Tourism Challenges and Trends is increasingly more accessible since it is indexed in major academic data-bases, such as CEEOL, Ebsco, ProQuest and others. All the fees asked are important to increase the high quality of the publication and to keep publishing the printed edition.

JTCT offers free content

Celebrating 5 years of existence, the Journal of Tourism Challenges and Trends offers to its readers and contributors free access to some of its past volumes:
JTCT 2008 Vol 1-2
Mountain Tourism JTCT 2009 Vol 2-1
Event Tourism JTCT 2009 Vol 2-2

Individuals who subscribe to the journal in 2013 or who order the issues published in 2012 will benefit from additional free content.
Topics approached in 2012: Sport Tourism and Cultural Tourism.
Topics proposed for 2013: Innovation in Tourism and New Trends in the Anthropology of Tourism.
