Journal of Tourism Challenges and Trends invites academics and professionals in tourism to send manuscripts for publication consideration in the next issue of the journal, dedicated to Sport Tourism. This research field of tourism has been increasingly more popular among worldwide researchers. The objective of this issue is to investigate the links between sport and tourism and also to emphasize the trends in sport related tourism activities all over the world.

Articles could focus on areas such as:

– tourism infrastructure development generated by special events
– promoting special events to tourists
– destination brand and special events
– impact of tourists attending various events on residents
